My 11 year old son loves this game for the multiple playing modes, good graphics and details. Another feature he enjoys is the instant replay function. My son is an active soccer player himself and very versed with international teams. He enjoys that he can call up any international major or minor soccer league. My 11-year old says: “I recommend you buy it”.

Fifa 08 is an incredibly addictive game; the graphics are superb, the announcer is realistic, its perfect! In the begining of the game you are asked to join a club group (for example, the MLS) and a team in that club. I chose Manchester United, an excellent French team; the game was so great, I loved the players so much, I felt pretty much on the same wavelength 99.9% of the time, that I visited Man. United’s website and am totally addicted to the team! But, to get back to the game, you can be a manager of your choosen team and unlock cool features, participate in tournaments (which are ADDICTING!), and play regular games. Your records are saved automatically. There’s only one catch I noticed: say, a defender steals the ball. Then you steal it back and the ball is loose. Your players, instead of attacking the ball, withdraw, which I find terribly annoying. Anyway, enjoy the game, its definetly a *cough* Keeper!

WOW!!! Here’s how to take your kids (and yourself) to the next level for skills development. No more poorly constructed videos or diagrams - these are very professionally produced so that you understand every move. There’s also good dialogue with the pros and trainers about how to really finesse these moves on the pitch.
Customer Review: Youth soccer skills training
We purchased this DVD based on a recommendation, for use as a training aid for my 10 yr old. It demonstrates a number of age appropriate soccer skills in a nice format that is useful for learning, and that is also enjoyable to watch. At times the European accents and terminology used by some of the speakers / players may be difficult to understand and follow.
