SDHC memory card is a highly secure stamp-sized flash memory card, which can be used in a variety of compatible digital products
Customer Review: Works as it should!
What can I say? This product works perfectly in my Canon FS100 camcorder. No issues with corrupt data (knock on wood) and the write speed is adequate…no delays noticed during camcorder use. Sure, there are cheaper SDHC cards out there but I have used Sandisk in the past and have never had a problem with them.

Go Set, Folding Wood with Storage Bags, Plastic Stones
Consider yourself a militaristic genius? Ready to set out for blood to gain territory and crush your opponent? Not so fast… Go, an ancient game of Chinese origin, rewards patience and concentration rather than greed and aggression. The shifting balance of territory and power can unnerve even the most disciplined and intellectual player. Like martial arts, Go is an exercise in concentration, balance, and discipline. One cannot disguise one’s personality on the Go board! Go can be learned in minutes, but it can take a lifetime to master. The large board and lack of restrictions allows great scope in strategy and expression of players’ individuality. The object of the two-player game is to gain control of territories by alternately placing black or white stones strategically across a large ruled board. While it is easy to learn, this game of beauty and intellectual challenge provides hours of entertainment for players. Our transportable, wooden folding game board has an elegant blond veneer with storage for the plastic stones which are included. Set measures 12″ x 6″ when folded.
Customer Review: a great starter set
This game is very good. However, the instructions are rather vague. I would suggest buying a How-to-play-Go book with it. Also, buy some bowls with it to hold the playing pieces. Other than that, great starter kit.
Customer Review: Simply complex
Go is the type game that you wonder makes you wonder as you’re playing, “Is this more complex than chess, or not?” I actually never get around to playing regulation GO with guests in my home but rather play a game called Go-moku-narabe. The premise is that the first player to get exactly five in a row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins. The only rule is that if the opponent sandwiches your pieces either by two of his own pieces or between his one piece and the edge of the board, the 5 is invalid. This game goes over great with children and adults and I highly recommend it to anyone. As far as this board goes specifically, the pieces are smaller than I expected and my preference is for larger pieces. Consequently it fits in a standard backpack quite well so it serves the purpose for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Customer Review: Chess Sets Through History
Synopsis: This book identifies chessmen and their countries of origin and recounts some history and evolution from the earliest basic shapes to those generally accepted today. It was published in Great Britain in 1985 under two different titles: It was produced for distribution in the United Kingdom under the title Chessmen For Collectors, and for distribution in the United States under the title The Illustrated Guide to World Chess Sets. (On my copy, the title page and dust jacket read The Illustrated Guide to World Chess Sets, while the spine of the book itself reads Chessmen For Collectors). Author is Dr. Victor Keats and many photographs are by Daniel Keats and Adrian Pope. (The book contains a total of 50 color photographs and 273 black and white photographs). The book measures 8-1/2″ by 12-1/2″. The book itself is in brand-new condition. The dust jacket itself has a couple of very small tears at the edge that I covered with invisible (almost) tape to prevent them from tearing further. More Information - (this is from the inside flaps of the dust jacket): Chess is the most cosmopolitan and possibly the most ancient of games. Yet, from its origin in India to the present day, it has always proved to be more than a pastime. Besides the inspiration the game has given to writers and artists throughout the world, chess sets reflect, through the work of craftsmen, changing styles in art, topical controversies, battles, propaganda, and mythology. In short, beyond its practical use, every chess set represents both an historical record and a work of art. Chess sets have always offered the craftsman an opportunity to display the quality of his work on a small scale - whether in traditional or unusual materials. But it is an area of antiques that has been comparitvely neglected. Both the would-be collector and the new collector has too often been deterred from beginning, or extending, his collection through the lack of reliable information. As a result, prices have lagged far behind the cost of similar types of antiques. While the book describes many early and rare sets, the main emphasis, therefore, falls on the last two centuries from which period desirable examples can be obtained by the discerning collector for a relatively modest sum. Country by country each chapter systematically charts the development of chess sets in chronological order, giving the collector an instant means of identification. The accompanying 50 colour and 270 black and white illustrations give details of the diverse materials used - ivory, wood, porcelain, bronze - precise heights of pawns and pieces, their provenance and date. The text and illustrations together highlight the variation of style in English sets, Indian ivory sets, Spanish `pulpit’ chessmen and delicate French eighteenth-century sets, as well as unique works of art from all over the world. The whole amounts to a highly authoritative, wide-ranging referrence work for the serious or casual chess collector, who may benefit from a profitable investment as well as enjoy the pleasure of owning and looking at beautiful works of art. The jacket illustration shows Burmese `Anglo-Chinese’- style ivory chessmen. The spine shows an Indian ivory knight from a set similar to that presented to Samuel Pepys by James II (Provenance Victoria and Albert, Bethnal Green Museum, London, Melsen Collection); on the back is a silver knight from a set portraying Wellington versus Napoleon at Waterloo. The Author: Victor Keats originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor, and over twenty years ago became the curator of a chess collection. By careful judgement and diligent purchasing, he built it into one of the world’s foremost collections. He has become one of the best known figures in this field of antiques. He counts among his friends fellow enthusiasts in many countries, particularly the United States of America. He has travelled extensively to study the world’s main collections and museums containing major chess sets.
