I guess it qualifies as an obsession. I’ve spent more time playing this than most of my other games combined. We’ve had Guitar Hero parties, and I’ve watched other non-gamer, non-musicians get the Guitar Hero bug! A lot has been said about this game - all I can say is, 5 stars, and I very rarely give out 5-star reviews.

Customer Review: Comfortable and Great Performing T-shirt for Workouts or Casual Wear
I am a huge fan of Under Armour’s workout apparel, and in addition to owning several of these Tech T-shirts, also own several each of the Loose Gear shirts (0084) and the Heat Gear compression shirts (0039) - I’ve written reviews on those as well. The Tech T-shirt (0382) feels really good on your skin - like your favorite, most comfortable old cotton t-shirt. It looks just like cotton and has a matte finish - it’s not shiny/silky like the Loose Gear shirts or Heat Gear compression shirts. It is very soft, comfortable and lightweight, and I love this shirt both for working out and casual wear. The shirt runs true to size (buy your regular T-shirt size and it will fit really well), and is the roomiest cut of the Under Armour shirts. I absolutely LOVE the raglan sleeves on the tech tee - one of the features that makes them so comfortable and gives them a little bit of a unique look. The tech tee has a small amount of a lycra-like fabric in with the polyester microfiber, which gives it quite a bit of stretch. I like this because the shirt doesn’t bind if you’re doing something that really requires you to reach or stretch - certain weight exercises, aerobics, yoga, etc. The shirt works the way it’s supposed to, and wicks moisture from your skin for rapid evaporation. The tech tee is available in numerous colors (I have 6 of them) and in spite of the fact that the fabric is thin and very lightweight, the shirts are very opaque. The shirts have a nice cut and look great over jeans or shorts - in addition to the gym, I often wear them out and around, or when working in the yard. They are super comfortable worn as an undershirt too, but are probably a little costly for that. Like all the Under Armour shirts, they have a self-material neck band, but it fits just right and stays in place, even if you get sweaty - it doesn’t sag like the cotton ones. While I have zero complaints about the tech tee, be aware that it is Under Armour’s “budget” product, if there is such a thing. The material does start to pill after a few washings - this affects appearance slightly, but not performance or fit. Although I haven’t worn out ANY of my Under Armour shirts yet, I’m going to venture that the tech t-shirt won’t be quite as durable as their signature Loose Gear shirts and Heat Gear compression shirts, nor does it perform quite as well. On the other hand it, it’s about 20% cheaper, so as with anything else, you get what you pay for. When stacked up against UA’s other shirts, I’d say the tech tee is for you if: 1) You like the look and feel of a soft, cotton t-shirt but want the wicking and performance of a microfiber shirt. 2) You don’t care for the shiny, silky, more synthetic look and feel of the Loose Gear shirts, or the tightness of the Heatgear compression shirt. 3) You want a shirt that’s a little roomier. 4) You want a shirt with stretch in it. 5) You want to save a little $$ but still wear an authentic UA logo shirt.

Customer Review: Lots of Goals Alright, But not Enough Time.
The running time on this video is short, can’t remember how long but another reviewer said 20 minutes and it sounds about right. Lots of goals (all from the English Premier League) are cramped into this tape; so needless to say you don’t get replay, slow-motion, or even plays that lead to the goals on some occasion. Some goals are spectacular, others are pretty ordinary. It’ll be a long time before I view this video again, I simply have better ones in my collection. Like “Boys from Brazil”, that video is awesome!

I have several of Jaimies books…..and enjoy them all. This, however, is exceptional. Much of it I am reading like a novel! Great 1nformation and technique, much of which would be difficult to acquire elsewhere.

The recipes are interesting, many with a twist…many with “theme and variations” included. Jaimie always stresses quality ingredients and discusses ways to correctly select them.

The gnocci section alone is worth the price….

I am not through with the book as I have been savoring it, as I do with much of his food…

Customer Review: Very Frustrating
I found this toy to be very frustrating. I took the time to set it all up one day and my son had only played with it a little while before it all came apart again. I could not face putting back together again that day so I put it away. The next time I set it up I actually duct-tapped the tubes together in the hopes that it would remain set up longer. I was wrong. I just recently threw it out after trying again to set it up and losing my patience. I’d rather buy something that is permantly together even if it takes up more room in my garage! For right now, I am just using some orange cones as a goal and it works just as well-I can certainly shout “goal” on my own without the taregt.

I have been using various Pur water filter products for about a decade and have always been pleased with the results, and now with the 6 pack on Amazon, my price has been cut in half! The water in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is generally good campared to many other communities, but what spurred me to use filters was what happens after the water leaves the treatment plant. A friend of mine works for the water-sewer department here. After his first week he went out and bought water filters once he saw what was in the pipes leading to the homes. A dirty little secret the treatment plants do not tell you is the number a leaks in the system allowing for ground water seepage, especially after a heavy rain. I can see it in my bath water. Because of this I am saving up to put a whole house filter on my intake pipe since our skin absorbs alot from showering and bathing. I will still use my faucet filters since I never waste money on dirty bottled water, I refill my own bottles, at a considerable discount of about 90%, and take them to work with me. Also, I water my most delicate indoor plants with filtered water and they seem to be healthier for it. The Pur 3 stage filter is definitely a bargain at these prices and well worth it considering the results.

Customer Review: you will never go back, this is the way
I am a cyclist and for years pictured that a pushreel mower was more in line with who I am than the gas jalopys and cumbersome electrical ones I grew up with.

My girlfriend bought me this mower years ago when we moved to Halifax, and it the best mower I’ve ever used.

No more noise, smacking the blades on rocks, cutting cords, buying gas. If you like simplicity and a precision machine this is for you.

I had people stop me just about every time I’d use it. Some baffled at the “vintage mower” and others that were thinking about making the move themselves and wanted to talk about it or try it out.

Ultimately it became kinda like talking about a hotrod than a lawnmower. I can’t imagine perfect strangers doing that with any other type, I’m sure that doesn’t happen. People were really stoked on it.

Does it do a good job? It certainly does, pushreel are the only mower that cuts like scissors rather than breaks like a helicopter blade hitting grass.

Mowing the lawn is a good time now, grab a beer, catch some sun and trim the grass in silence. It’s pretty rad. I’m writing and review of my mower and it’s snowy outside–that pretty much says it right there.

The only negatives I can think of is that it doesn’t do a really good job on dandelions, but they should be pulled out anyway.

If you’re thinking about it, go for it. You won’t be disappointed. And the extra hundreds or thousands you save can be better spent on some cold ones or a trip somewhere.

Golf courses, ballparks, and botanical gardens use reel mowers…they know what they’re doing.

My DH had a similar travel chess board that our eight year old son took to school on a rainy day and unfortunately it came back broken. My DH was terribly upset as he has had the set since his 8th grade graduation (He’s now 56). Anyway son felt bad and he wanted to get a new one for the daddy’s Christmas gift. It did not arrive until the 30th even though we ordered it at the beginning of December. However, it was well worth the wait. The board is beautiful and well crafted. The pieces come inside a foam insert and are equally well crafted. We are very happy (as is the daddy) with our purchase.

I still think Brubeck’s Time Out is the best single cd ever, but History of Chess Jazz double cd is the other “must” that all jazz lovers should have. Customer Review: I’d give it about a 3.5 if I could
I guess I have to agree with other reviews I’ve read in print and online - this movie was good for the first hour, and then the ending was kind of a deflation of the mood that was set in the start. The nature of the zombie/vampires was not well explored, particularly the clear demonstration of their vestigial intelligence and apparent social organization. The film just kind of gallumphs to a close. I would also have to agree with criticisms of the sometimes-chunky CGI; thi sis the first film I’ve ever saw that I actually thought, gee, it wouldn’t be so bad if at some future date they went back and retouched some of the computer graphics. Much of it was surprisingly cheesy. Will Smith does a good job in his role — loved the dog, as well. (Joe Sixpack, Slipcue)

Customer Review: Smith made the unreal, real.
The story and the script were amazing. But like all movies acting can make it or kill it in the end. That being said, something happened to Will Smith between I Robot and The Pursuit of Happyness where he went from being a snotty so so actor to becoming a flippin amazing actor. I have no idea what it was. Maybe it was having a child. I have no idea but this is the second film he has been in where he blew me away. Like I robot he was working within a fictional future world which is why I am comparing the films. I think the challenge of all actors is to make the unreal, real. This is really really really hard in a film like this one that is so far from reality yet Will did it and I think it is a crowning achievement for him as an actor. It was nothing short of brilliance.

Customer Review: Lots of functions, great price, but flimsy with awkward buttons
There is a lot to like about an Excalibur chess clock: it is inexpensive, it has lots of functions, and it is very easy to learn how to use it. First off, the price: you can buy three of these clocks for the price of a Chronos, but then you get what you pay for. Most of the guys in my chess club have Chronos clocks and I also have two that I have had for years. Yet, I have never even heard of a Chronos clock that failed. These Excalibur clocks, on the other hand, definitely have a limited lifespan. A lot of players start out with an Excalibur clock, but sooner or later the clock breaks down and then they buy a different kind of clock. Personally, my main peeve with the Excalibur is that I really dislike the buttons on it. The problem is that the button movement is not completely smooth and therefore it is possible to hit a button in such a way that it does not go down all the way and then you have to hit it again (this is extremely annoying when you are playing blitz). Other than the buttons, the problem is that these clocks are flimsy and do not take well to jostling. Still, if you just want a clock for occasional use, and if you are looking for something cheap and functional, this clock is your best bet.

Customer Review: you will never go back, this is the way
I am a cyclist and for years pictured that a pushreel mower was more in line with who I am than the gas jalopys and cumbersome electrical ones I grew up with.

My girlfriend bought me this mower years ago when we moved to Halifax, and it the best mower I’ve ever used.

No more noise, smacking the blades on rocks, cutting cords, buying gas. If you like simplicity and a precision machine this is for you.

I had people stop me just about every time I’d use it. Some baffled at the “vintage mower” and others that were thinking about making the move themselves and wanted to talk about it or try it out.

Ultimately it became kinda like talking about a hotrod than a lawnmower. I can’t imagine perfect strangers doing that with any other type, I’m sure that doesn’t happen. People were really stoked on it.

Does it do a good job? It certainly does, pushreel are the only mower that cuts like scissors rather than breaks like a helicopter blade hitting grass.

Mowing the lawn is a good time now, grab a beer, catch some sun and trim the grass in silence. It’s pretty rad. I’m writing and review of my mower and it’s snowy outside–that pretty much says it right there.

The only negatives I can think of is that it doesn’t do a really good job on dandelions, but they should be pulled out anyway.

If you’re thinking about it, go for it. You won’t be disappointed. And the extra hundreds or thousands you save can be better spent on some cold ones or a trip somewhere.

Golf courses, ballparks, and botanical gardens use reel mowers…they know what they’re doing.

Customer Review: This movie will stay with you
‘Bella’ is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Very well written and tightly edited, it tenderly examines the lives of two wounded souls and proves that love can conquer even the most difficult circumstances. Very uplifting and very real, you will find yourself connecting to the characters and their stories. They will stay with you long after the closing credits roll. ‘Bella’ is a must own movie because you will want to watch it again and again.
Customer Review: Can’t wait to buy it!
I thought the acting was fantastic! Good story. Good characters. Good morals/values overall. The family scene at dinner was wonderful - very realistic, in my experience. In fact, the whole movie was realistic, along with being uplifting. I loved the positive way the family of the main character (Eduardo Verastegui) was portrayed. They weren’t “dysfunctional”. They actually liked each other and had fun together! As mentioned in another review, the movie is a bit shakey in the beginning, which I didn’t like, but not enough to rate the movie lower than 4.9 stars. Also, I initially thought the girl in the beginning of the movie was the same little girl as from the main character’s past - which didn’t make sense, of course - because both girls looked alike and had similar hairdo’s. But again, it’s forgivable. We took several of our children to see the movie (having seen it by myself first). Our 9 year old liked it, although I don’t know how much she understood. The 12 and 14 year olds definitely got it and liked it. I will let them watch it again. However - the main female character IS pregnant, out of wedlock, with no father of the baby in the picture - AND - they do show a scene with her going to an abortion clinic (nothing graphic) - which may bring up some touchy subjects, so be forewarned. If you aren’t ready to discuss it with your children, you may want to wait for them to see it. Looking forward to having it in my collection!

Customer Review: Still better than FIFA
PES 2008 is long awaited in North America, but now that it’s here we can enjoy the finest edition of this long running series on PS2. Everything that was in PES 6 is still here plus the addition of new community and world tour modes. The network service is up and running (since 03/13/08) and it’s very easy to find a game against an online opponent, and as long as you pay attention to the connection quality (and only play opponents with 2 bars or more) then it will be very smooth and enjoyable. So in summary, despite the next-gen systems having better graphics, the PS2 game is the better overall experience hands down.
Customer Review: No fun when you can’t play online mode
First of all, I have PS3 but I bought a PS2 version of the game. The online mode is lagging so bad. the player move around without your control. also, PS3 have less Stadium then PS2. If I not remember wrong. PS3 only have 10 stadium vs PS 2 35 Stadium. PS2 get the World Tour Mode, which PS3 doesn’t have. Xbox 360 and PS3 has so many bug. go Google search PES 2008 bug. you will know what I am talking about here. Very Disappointed fans of WE series.

Customer Review: Two thumbs up from a football neophyte
I became interested in football for the first time this year with an exciting college football season. I’ve tried to watch NFL football with my husband but all it looked like to me was, as my daughter says, “A bunch of dudes piling on top of each other.” I really wanted to begin to learn football, so I bought this book. I love it! I’ve got sticky notes in it, underlines, highlights and margin notes. I give it 4 1/2 stars because some of the descriptions still assume I know or understand just a little more than I do. Plus, the index is not comprehensive enough. I’ve watched games after using the book and understood more of what I saw on the field, and after watching a game I understood more of what I read in the book…so it worked both ways. I still have a long way to go but am now looking forward to next fall and the beginning of football season. I am even entertaining the idea of buying season tickets to watch my favorite team.

I used to think I knew almost everything there is to know about football. I was wrong. This book provided many interesting tidbits and insights into a game I love. What is there not to like? Football for Dummies is written by Howie Long, a much-respected NFL great, who takes the time to explain all of the nuances of the greatest sport in American history. It is a “dummies” book, but that is what makes it so great. You can skip the chapters you know already or do not care to read. This book is for everyone, from the significant other who wants to understand why they are a football widow, to the novice learning to play, to someone who thinks they know everything about the game (but really does not). Even it you know everything this book will teach you something.
