Customer Review: Brilliant introduction for 5 year old
My five year old son has been really struggling at soccer, even though he is a fast runner and very co-ordinated he was just wandering around the field looking lost. So I spent three months looking for a good kids Soccer DVD to teach him. This was the third we had tried and it is brilliant!! He watched it six tims in the first two days. He had his first post-DVD soccer game yesterday and the difference was astounding. He excitedly jumped out of the car for the first time, dribbled the ball perfectly from the car to his time for the first time, line up with his team and kicked his first goal and started jumping up and down with excitment. He was very pleased with himself and the first thing he asked for this morning was, “Mum, can I please watch the soccer movie again?”.
Customer Review: Fine..but for YOUNGEWR KIDs
Actually, checked this out from the library several years ago. My daughter who has turned into a reasonably good soccer player (not necessarily thanks to this video, but…) really liked this video at the age of 7-8 years and actually remembers it. It is a basic resource that will hold their attention and can be the basis for a conversation on what they should be doing on the field. It is not comprehensive, but a good start for young kids in playing fundementals.

We got the soccer goal with a 10% coupon and then tried to use the coupon on another product from the same company. The coupon didn’t work, so we left that in our feedback. The seller then gave us a discount on this soccer goal that we had already purchased and sent another coupon to us. That is fantastic customer service in this day and age. The goal is very rigid and is perfect for use as a goal to practice accuracy or for younger kids. Lightweight and easy to assemble/disassemble. Perfect for a goal for your kids who like to play street sports (hockey/soccor/lacrosse/etc.)

Customer Review: Strap yourself in for a truly mesmerising range of goals!!
(I’m going to take a way different aproach to this review. I’ll review “All The Goals of the World Cup” in a way different aproach.) NOTES: World Cup 2002(2002). DVD release, 2003 BASIC CONTENT: A recap of all the 161 goals of the 2002 World Cup. Brilliant commentary, wonderful replays from all different angles and terrific facts make this DVD a memerising watch of one of the greatest World Cup’s of all time. THE GOODS: Every goal(as I’ve explained before) is replayed from different angles. It is also good to see how well your country did back in that World Cup. The wonderful scenery of the crowd, unbelievable skill of the players and the commentary make it a perfect DVD. THE BADS: There aren’t many bads. Probably the menu board overlapse. That doesn’t stop it being a great DVD. Overview: A wonderful DVD, and good to collect to remember the 2002 World Cup. Truly mesmerising! (Now, I’ll talk about the 2002 World Cup and focus on the main areas.) There was absolutely nothing in the world better than the 2002 World Cup in 2002. The goals, fans, characters of that World Cup, skills, games, players and scenery just was amazing. You got Brazil winning the World Cup with some fine qaulity players, you got some dramatic final matches, one which I like is the Senegal and Uruguay match, eventually Senegal prevailing in extra time. And, you got one hell of a final between Brazil and Germany. The goals are magnificent, most of them coming from crosses into the box, some coming from uneeded and controversial penalties. The players, Owen, Beckham, Scholes, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Henry, Campbell, Roberto Carlos, Lampard, Deschamps and others too good to mention, all arive on stage in Korea, Japan. The keepers are also magnificent. Add to this and you have one accomplished World Cup. Finally, as I conclude to my review, USA put in a fine effort and do really well.

Customer Review: Exactly what I wanted
This little fan did exactly what I wanted - a small, purse size fan that provided enough cooling air when I traveled and had to be in places without air conditioning. It’s a great size for the purse and seems pretty sturdy too (I’ve had others that worked one or two times and quit). The “blades” are harmless too. Like all the little fans, it would be a bit noisy for church or theater, but for what I needed it was great.

Customer Review: Good movie edition of the first Harry Potter book
I liked this movie. It wasn’t nearly as good as the book but, then again, they never are. I thought whoever directed this film did a very good job with picking the actors. Daniel Radcliff did well as Harry Potter. Rupert Grint was OK. He looked the part well enough but he’s not the best. Emma Watson is a fantastic Hermione and played the part better then the picture in my head played it. Dumbledoor was the best Dumbledoor there could have been and the same with Snape. The story was cut short, but it always has to be. All in all, if you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll like this movie of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Customer Review: Just A Tad Disappointed
I have just watched The Sorcerer’s Stone on ABC Family channel and there are additional scenes that are not included in this DVD. Those scenes cut from the DVD actually make the film version more closely follow the book and are important to the context of the whole story. I am so disappointed. I thought I had purchased the theatrical release of the movie. Any ideas on how to tell which is the complete movie and not just a cut-up version?

Aristocrat Of The Blues (Chess 50th Anniversary Collection) [2-CD SET]
Customer Review: Fine collection of pre-Chess Chess material
Well, before they started using the name “Chess”, that is. These 51 tracks were recorded between 1947 and 1950 for the Chess bothers’ fledgling blues label, and feature artists like Muddy Waters, Robert Nighthawk, Sunnyland Slim, Leroy Foster, Tom Arcia, and Jimmy Oden. Everything is superbly remastered, the sound is crisp and clean, the best you’re ever likely to hear, and most of the music is top-notch as well. The only “problem” is that there is just too much Muddy Waters here. Not that a lot of Muddy Waters is a bad thing, far from it, but all of these early Muddy-singles have been readily available for many years, and most serious bluesfans are bound to own them already, which means that they have to buy a CD’s worth of songs that they already have in order to get 26 more or less rare songs. That’s not to say that you should avoid this album, however…there is some wonderful music here, apart from the Muddy Waters-songs, particularly Jimmy Oden’s “So Nice And Kind”, Little Johnny Jones’ rendition of “Big Town Playboy”, two cuts by saxist/band leader Tom Archia, and four songs by Sunnyland Slim. And eight of slide guitar master Robert Nighthawk’s very best electric sides are here as well, including “Anna Lee”, “Prison Blues”, “Jackson Town Gal”, and the classic “Sweet Black Angel”, and those are perhaps the best songs of the entire collection. A couple of those sides have never before been available on CD, by the way. The Muddy-songs are great as well, obviously, especially the ones with Sunnyland Slim on piano, and the slide guitar-driven “Little Geneva”, and it is a real pity that “Aristocrat Of The Blues” has been discontinued. It is a fine overview of the early days of urban electric blues. (And I have a copy! He!he! ;o)

This is probably a “must have” if you are a collector of Post War Urban Blues. The Aristocrat label evolved into the famous Chess label, and this album foretells Chess’s success. Famous singers, but not their most widely known recordings.
